LMAO the start of the 2nd half was delayed.....they lost the basketball and couldnt find it. LOL

What the heck?

LOL, yea Raisin it was quite comical. All the players were on the court ready to go when the ref asks the other ref for the ball, he says he doesnt have it, so they ask the other ref, he says he doesnt have it. They look all around and cant find it. They finally go in back and grab another bball. Pretty good stuff....

Bulls up 85-82 with 2 45 left in the 4th

Bulls win #11!! 95-89. Not a pretty game, but apparently they got in real late last night as the announcers kept mentioning something of the sort. Good win, beating the worse team in the NBA. It sure is nice being able to say that and not mean the Bulls. 2-1 in 2005! They have the Jazz on Friday.

Yay!!

Curry had 9 rebounds today.

I'm one of the biggest Curry detractors out there, and when I was at the UC on Monday night from my last row seat, I could see how much this team really needed Eddy Curry if merely for inside presence alone.

Othella Harrington shooting 10 times isn't a recipe for winning #-o

Yeah, the crowd was pretty scared everytime someone other then Hinrich, Deng or Gordon shot the ball.

The crown reaction when Noccioni shot a 3 in the third quarter.

"NOOOOOOO!!.....YEAH!!!!" as he hit it

We really needed Currys physical presense in there on Monday. Too bad Chandler is not that answer despite being over 7 feet

The funniest part was when one of the refs got one of those tiny plastic balls meant for the small hoops, and brought it out. It was hilarious.

Bulls play the Jazz tonight at 7 30 at the UC. Bulls have a pretty good schedule coming up with a lot of winnable games. Lets hope they can put a string of wins together.

In one of the worst quarters of bball I have ever seen in my life, the Bulls are down 22-12! The Bulls shot 3-18 in the first quarter.

These officials suck also. Curry gets a T for staring at the ref. He made a layup and knocked the ball out of bounds which should have been a delay of game. The ref instead calls a T. I look for Skiles to get 1 in this game to.

Bulls used a 15-1 run in the 3rd to take the lead. Deng is having a dang(pun intended) good quarter. Deng has 18 thru 3 quarters. Bulls up 68-58 at the end of 3.

Bulls win 84-78!!!! Deng had an AWESOME game. 22points 7boards 4assists 2blocks 2 steals! Curry had I believe 21 and 5. Hinrich had a lot of assists tonight, and Chandler is a block machine.

Awesome win - great recovery from that first quarter. Thanks for the comments, Keener, since I can't watch any of Bulls games that aren't on the Superstation or against one of the LA teams.

That's two in a row. :thumright:

It's always nice to beat the Jazz. Just found out that my brother went to the game with a friend of his. Must have had good seats.

The Bulls have really settled into some pretty defined roles. I especially enjoy the roll that Tyson Chandler is on. Obviously this guy is not an offensive force and we all have given up on that. I don't even care, this guy plays great D nowadays. He swats a lot of balls, and you can count on him for 9+ boards per game. He has definitely earned a spot in the starting rotation, and with Deng, Hinrich, Curry and Gordon getting the points, who needs Tyson to score?

Yea Raisin it was a really good comeback from the first quarter. Man was that horrible bball. Gordan had an offnight shooting but Deng was hitting everything. I think Deng could become something special by the end of the year. He is starting to hit his shots, and is a lot more athletic than I ever though he would be. No problem on the commentary, Im just glad somebody was reading them, because when I had like 6 straight posts, I was starting to think I was talking to myself  Bulls have the Celtics tomorro night on WGN, both of them will be coming off playing tonight, but the Bulls at least get to sleep at home. Skiles wasnt happy with this game at all in his post game interview. He said it was the first time in a long time that he felt like the team didnt come to play in the first quarter. He went deep into the bench early trying to shake things up, and then brought back the starters for the 2nd. Seems to have worked.

Listen to this stat...since the Bulls started 0-9 and were allowing 102 points a game....they are now allowing 89 points a game since that time. For a young team like this to be playing that kind of defense says alot.

I'm really excited about this team. Even if they don't make the playoffs this year (I think they can if they reach .500), I think they will next season if Chandler and Curry are back. Yay, the game is on WGN tomorrow! \:D/

And Jon posting in the Bulls thread?

I agree UM that everybody has taken to their roles quite well. Chandler honestly could become the next Dennis Rodman without the freak show behind it, and the ability to block shots. The guy just finds the ball off of missed shots, and teams are going to quit coming in the paint pretty soon if he keeps blocking shots the way he does. I wish he had some kind of offensive game, but like you said with the other potential scoring threats on this team they can get by without him having one. He has earned a starting spot, but I think with the way things are going right now,Skiles is scared to mess with the rotation which is understandable. If they would start Tyson they could bring Antonio Davis off the bench which I believe would be better for him and the team. I like AD, but I believe he would be more valuable off the bench. I also hope to see before the season is over, Gordan moved into the starting lineup in place of Duhon. I think Duhon is perfect to come off the bench and give Kirk and Ben breathers, and it would give Gordan a chance to find his rhythm from the beginning of the game. Wow, the ESPN guys at the half of the Lakers Rockets game, just mentioned the Bulls and gave them some compliments. They were even congratulating Pax on the way he put this team together  Lastly, Skiles is starting to really win me over in the the coaching department. The guy knows X's and O's very well, and seems to be finally getting thru to Curry and Chandler.

7-3 in their last 10. Hottest team in the East besides the Heat, who have been hot all year. 2 games out of the 8th playoff spot, with 2 games in hand over Philly.

If they keep showing improvement, I don't think Philly is good enough to hold them off. Of course, New Jersey will get better and is right on the Bulls' heels.

I haven't seen them play much this year, but seems as if Tyson is coming to play. What's up with Nocioni? Everyone was all about him early, haven't heard much about him lately.

Edit: my 8000th post! Dang!

He has really struggled shooting some nights, but when he is in the game he has the intensity and hustle that was a lot of the praise given to him early on. I also think he is still adjusting to the American game, but he actually gets to a lot of rebounds at times put on a good scoring display.

Nocioni is a hard nosed son of a gun. I really like his defensive game, and ability to step in and take a charge. Hes the type of player that will just piss the other team off, hes annoying lol. His shot has been off lately, and he hasnt been hitting the 3 at all. He has said he is a much better shooter than what hes showns so far so I hope thats true. I think he will be a very good signing in Pax's resume. The Bulls have Philly this week also so hopefully they come to play. I agree Raw, NJ should get better, especially with Vince coming to play everynight for the Nets, instead of half the time like he did the the Raptors. I lost alot of respect for Vince after seeing his interview with John Thompson on ESPN.
