Yeah, I should have qualified that with "without drastically changing the entire game". Moving the mound would definitely do the trick.

The experiments they did on moving the mound back a few years ago had pretty counter-intuitive results.  I don't think it's a complete no-go to help with things, but given how much hitters struggled with timing(since the swing cues they've used their whole career are changed) and extra movement, my guess is we're closer to an equilibrium than we realize.

Off the top of my head, Wisdom has a triple and two homers on 2-strike pitches this week. He's still going to strike out a ton, but it's nice to see him not be completely useless with two strikes

Outscoring the A's 21-3 in a sweep (assuming no more runs scored) is exactly what you want to see against a bad team.  5-1 road trip is especially nice.

Fair enough, make that 26-3 and counting.  A lot of teams are going to have skewed run differentials after playing the A's lol
