I can't rewind my shady internet site. What was Hosmer doing after making the throw to Dansby? He couldn't have been that far from the bag that Steele had to cover.

He took a step or two to his right to field it so I think Steele covering was the most natural outcome.  I wouldn't have been completely shocked if he had hustled to the base but it would've been a slightly awkward cover, especially since Steele should've broken down earlier and caught the throw.

Haven't been able to watch but I see the A's run is unearned for Steele, but looking at the PBP I don't see any reason it would be unearned.  Just a mistake in my score app?

The runner would not have been in scoring position if it weren't for the error on Dansby allowing him to 2B.

Pee Wizzy's D bailed out by the DP

If only we had some other options for RF on days when Seiya has to sit.  But nah we have to make sure the weak-hitting DH/C is on the roster.

this is the shortest pitcher i've ever seen

I didn't notice until you said that, and now I can't unsee it.  It looks like a tractor came over and sliced off most of the pitching mound.

OK wild pitch moved them over....we need to score some runs this inning now.

Edit: Very nice Belli!  One of the times where a reduced K rate really helps out.
