You get used to these stats when Fred was doing them every day, and then they go away and the fact that the Cubs and Dodgers have played almost two THOUSAND games against each other is just completely shocking.

It's still so wild how....mortal this Dodgers team is.  Like it's good, don't get me wrong.  But it's basically a .500 team plus the monster trio of Freeman/Betts/Smith.  By their estremely lofty standards it's almost kind of embarrassing.

Do the umps have any leeway to make a judgement call in that type of situation, or are they obligated to make the call as written?  It's dumb, but also a slippery slope if they start making exceptions.

Who was pinning game threads and why did it stop? It's weird to have the 4/11 thread pinned and the newer ones below.  If the current day's thread isn't going to get pinned consistently, they probably shouldn't be pinned at all
