Looks like Fields might have a shot at Lamar’s record after all

At this rate, he'll break it today

Do it today or it doesn't count.

He did miss a game so it would still be 16 games at least lol

Edit: just realized Lamar only played 15 games in his record breaking season

I changed my mind. The mood in Bears fandom is that there is no doubt whatsoever that there will be a dozen QB hungry teams ready to enter a historic bidding war and give us a Ricky Williams-like haul for our pick while we only trade down a couple of spots and manage to snag the top player we wanted anyway.

Seeing their collective meltdown if we win this game would be worth it.

Fields not running with this OLine and WRs is just as dangerous to his health than just running. And it seems like every time he does run a lot, they’re working on his leg on the sideline.

I'm generally anti-tank but there's no universe in which I want the Bears to win this game, which has serious implications for both the value of their draft pick and the Packers' playoff odds.

Pretty certain the outcome of the Bears/Lions game is meaningless to the Packers’ playoff odds.

That's dumb. They're both 7-8 and on the bubble. I can't be expeced to actually check playoff scenarios.

Has this team EVER had a good O-Line?

It was pretty good in 05-06. That’s the last time I can remember it being considered good

It was good that first Trestman year too. Pretty good in 2018 too (was very healthy).

They've rarely been as bad as this year though.

There is nothing that can be gained by Fields continuing to play. He can’t even get a pass off whether it’s due to poor pats blocking, WRs not getting open or Fields indecisiveness

He’ll get hurt if he stays in, clearly DET will get to him and there aren’t any targets. Can see it coming a mile away.

Houston not doing their part for the #1 seed, but Zona and Denver both keeping it close for some possible top 3 protection.

Not overly worried about Bears winning this week or next, especially with an increasing chance the Bye is still up for grabs next week.

Looks like Fields was already hurt. Two times in the tent in the first half.

If he plays again today it’s coaching malpractice.
