Zach is going crazy tonight and yet we could very well sandwich a win vs the Bucks with losses to last place teams.

 

Defense is straight up trash.

The second half of the 4th quarter defense was great. There were stretches throughout the rest of the game where they were rotating and playing well, but it wasn’t consistent. I don’t know if it’s scheme, ability, or desire, but it’s just not there. Probably all 3. Every once in awhile they have a stretch of great defense and all it really does for me is highlight how trash it is the rest of the game.

 

That said, last night was probably Zach’s best game overall as a Bull. He was putting in consistent effort defensively, attacking the rim, taking and making quality shots, and making some great passes off the drive. I was impressed. Need Blake Snell in the first row more often.

Zach has really cut down on the TOs lately. Just 11 in his last 7 games. Not trying to force the action as much. Maintaining that with the hyper efficiency makes for quite a player.

Bulls continue to be the weirdest team ever and end the Nets 12 game winning streak. If it wasn’t for the refs literally altering the outcome of the last 2 games they’d be 19-19 and 8-1 over their last 9 with wins over Miami, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Cleveland and Brooklyn.

Bulls continue to be the weirdest team ever and end the Nets 12 game winning streak. If it wasn’t for the refs literally altering the outcome of the last 2 games they’d be 19-19 and 8-1 over their last 9 with wins over Miami, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Cleveland and Brooklyn.

How much of this should fall on Donovan? He's always talking about how they need to coach and prepare their guys better but it's a recurring theme that they come out flat and discombobulated against shitty teams.

that helps the volume, but it's hard to argue with 53/42/88. he'll regress to some degree but he's insane right now

Is there really that much progression with WCJ? Just looking at the basic stats his per game increases seem to be related to more minutes and he still has issues staying on the court. I didn’t look too deeply so there could be some advanced stats that show an improvement but not like he’s an all star

I didn't see the game, but believe I saw that he thought he had been fouled and was going for the continuation. Apparently replays showed the Wizards guy also thought he had fouled him because he was motioning for the ref to call it a non-shooting foul.

The Wiz had a foul to give so LaVine knew they'd be trying to foul before a shot went up. He was trying to get an and-1 out of it.
