I wonder if we're looking at a situation where Lavine and DDR don't miss extended time but we only see them on the court together for like...35-40 games.

Possible. From what I've read they always expected LaVine to miss the first 2 games and make his season debut on Saturday at the UC. We'll see if that is what ultimately happens. I think it's going to be an issue all year though off and on, and we'll possibly be getting the much less effective version of Zach that we saw in the 2nd half last year

If he's only playing some of the games we better get at least 90-95% of his potential when he's in there. Otherwise just let him sit until he's 100%. No reason to run a half ass LaVine out there again.

pat looking like a huge scouting and draft prep failure sadly

dude is out there for long stretches with drummond, old man dragic, caruso etc and doesn’t demand the ball or move around to get the ball on offense

Vooch has GOT to stop jacking up so many 3’s. It’s infuriating. Really thought Deebo had another buzzer beater last night. Shot looked good but just hit off the back of the rim.

Last season, the Bulls went a combined 1-15 against the Heat, Celtics, Bucks and Sixers.

This season, they're 2-0 against them.

Conversely the Bulls combined to go 6-1 against the Wizards and Cavs last year.

This season, they’re 0-2 against them

Put differently, the Bulls opened with 4 games in 6 nights, including games against both ECF teams from last year, and only looked bad in the SEGABABA.

Dragic is way better than I expected. His alley oop game is incredible. He definitely gives the Bulls a nice spark off the bench that was missing last year.

Bulls have already lost 2 games to bad teams with Zach sitting out. Could be the difference between a play in spot and the playoffs. The whole thing is so odd

Mediocre teams (Bulls) lose to slightly crappy/not terrible teams (4-2 Spurs/3-2 Wizards) on the road a lot. If healthy Zach plays, we probably win at least one, or both.

More than all that, the Bulls need Lonzo. They are once again 2nd from the bottom in 3pt attempts and can’t guard anyone. My only hope for this season is they can play .500 ball and Lonzo miraculously returns healthy in February/March.
