Thank you for not turning this into the Winter Classic and playing in a different rural cornfield each year. I couldn't even tell you where any of the last 5 winter classics were played.

 

Though it seems in this case that its not coming back because of rennovations, so we may see it again in 2024

The Winter Classic is the highest rated regular season game every year, wouldn’t want something like that. Field of Dreams game was the highest rated regular season game in 16 years

That’s fine, I’m just sick of it. If it makes them money and helps spread excitement for hockey, go for it. If the NHL didn’t also do 3-4 other outdoor games a year on top of the Winter Classic it might have kept its novelty.
