Through three innings against Kilian exactly one batter has not ended their PA by going down on strikes or hitting a groundball

Two airballs in the fourth and only one strikeout, he's a bust

Kilian is dealing and topping out at 97. Now that he’s being stretched out/getting more economical, I can’t imagine it’s long before he’ll get a chance in the bigs.

Bryan Smith brought up the great point that we have a few doubleheadera coming up that he'd be perfect for

Kilian has been on 4 days rest in his recent starts, that would have him in line to pitch in Iowa on Tuesday and have an extra day of rest to start the 30th. So basically no shuffling needed to line him up for those 2 starts.

2 unearned runs scored when Robel dropped an inning-ending pop up in the 6th but 5.2 with no ER is still his longest outing of the year.

got to say i think i'm glad we landed him and not Joey Bart

Besides the Ballesteros and Hernández homers, this was interesting:

RP Joel Sierra hurled two innings of no-run / no-hit ball while hitting 100 MPH

Moises Ballesteros blasted a two-run HR over the RF fence, drilled an RBI single and scored, and drew a walk, Cristian Hernandez belted a solo HR over the LF fence and lined a double into the LF corner

Iowa, Tenn, SB are all 8-2 over their last 10, MB is 6-4. MB has outscored their opponents by 88 runs, which is the best differential in the Minors. All 4 affiliates are at least +24 at this point.

Preciado sticking around all year at MB would be fantastic, seemed like a demotion candidate earlier. I really like that they're sticking with him at 2B, less whether or not he ends up there than max reps at high difficulty now. The approach needs tons of work, but otherwise I feel so much of his development is just adding strength to a 6'4"/6'5" frame that was good enough to sign as a SS

Good, steady work from Wicks

You've watched a lot of games, is Triantos looking like a position-less pud out there? BA's comments are disconcerting.
