4 of last 5 games at home.

4 of the last 5 at home in the most miserable part of the season weather-wise and after the season will likely be all but over. Bye in Week 14 when its to late to do us any good is strange too.

Still a very easy schedule most likely but the way it is configured is possibly the hardest you can make it on the Bears.

The meat heads will think it’s great because of the mythic advantage of “Bears weather” that hasn’t actually been an advantage

Season ticketholders are going to take a bath most likely unless they dump their tickets early on. No one is going to pay face value to watch a 3-9 team play in 30 degree temps.

Why the horsefeathers are we scheduled for THREE primetime games? I was hoping for none.

Because it's the Bears and between Packers, chance of Lions on thanksgiving, and the need to fill at least 2 primetime games every week, and often more, plus the limits on the best teams doing it every week, the league doesn't have many better options.

Yep. I've heard Bears consistently draw well on prime time viewers too.

Makes sense as its the largest 1 team market in the NFL but man recent Bears primetime games have been so incredibly awful and unwatchable with the exception of the Steelers game last year.

otoh, if and when the Bears do play well in that weather in Chicago, i love nothing more then to point to "Bears Weather" even tho I know its not a thing. why? because it annoys the ever-living hell out of my Viking-fan friends

And that game was awful for almost 3/4 of it.

Yea the large market helps, but even outside the Chicago media market they apparently just draw really broadly. I remember reading a article or tweet from some guy who used to work for Nielsen.

holy horsefeathers

Wow, has it been that long since the Bears had an "elite" rushing attack? :D

not gonna lie that definitely crossed my mind

I had a non internet friend, but one who I do interact with in Twitter screenshot a tweet of sulleys making fun of him. And I got to fill him in on all the cool nsbb details of what a mad rambling sports fan he actually is lol

He did his best work in the Illini basketball game threads.

You can hear a pop right before he goes down and grabs at his leg. Wonder if it was his Achilles. Feel terrible for the dude.
