not sure how anyone can look at his numbers and be shocked he isn't getting consideration

Because it’s not always about “numbers” when discussing talent level.

i'm not arguing that (even though i wouldn't even say he's an all star on merit, even though he has been a very nice addition and fit on this roster).

is this your first time following an all star selection process? (let alone NBA all star). how often do guys who don't put up stats get in (unless they're big name old guys getting in on their past, which also happens)?

i just don't see how it's remotely hard to believe that he's not getting hype.

My disbelief was with the Bulls not doing anything to promote him. It just seems like something I would expect them to do whether or not he has a realistic shot of being an All-Star in a league focused on offense only. His stats aren't that much different than some Pip All Star years with the Bulls. Sure the points are the biggest differential but Lonzo is still over 13 PPG this year while being an elite defender & passer on the 2nd best team in the East.

Lonzo is 4th on this Bulls team. Pip was 2nd when MJ was around and legit an All NBA player (1st-3rd team) most years in the 90s while Lonzo won't even sniff that. Say what you want. Lonzo is a damn good player and a guy who IMO would make ANY team better with his defense/passing/intangibles, but he's going to have a hard time making an all star. It's what? 3 PGs on the all star team each year for each conference? 13/5/5 just ain't gonna cut it. If he was like 13/8/8, ok.... now there might be a debate with those numbers plus defense, but he's not as popular as you think he js to get those votes.

Gonna have hard time stopping good guards without ball and zo but demar and lavine are just so good offensively teams won’t close the gap in crunch time too often

Aren’t Ball and Zo the same person? Did you mean Caruso?

WTF were the Atlanta fans chanting at DeRozan?

No matter what happens this season, I'm just glad the bulls play an extremely fun brand of basketball. Really makes every game enjoyable.

We (meaning fans of Chicago teams and Cubs instead of Sox) really needed this. And they aren’t just good but fun and entertaining. Great stuff

The cash considerations bit is funny but I hope he can provide solid defense, rebounding and rim protection. IIRC that's basically his game and there's certainly an opportunity here if he can.

i think everyone who missed the last ATL game on the hawks is still out plus bogie and dieng who both played last game

in other words, win. the schedule is pretty soft until we face brooklyn and GSW back to back on the 1/12 and 1/14. be nice to open up a gap from the third seed.

Yeah; I typically look to fade teams who won the first half of a back to back but Bulls -8 is screaming me in the face.

Bulls with 104 points through 3 quarters tonight, leading the very short-handed Hawks by about 20 since midway through the 2nd quarter.

I know they have to trade for another big, but I'd hate to see anyone lose minutes at this point. Coby looking like 2000s Steve Nash last night. But I'd really hate to see guys like Javonte, DJJ and Ayo lose playing time if they add a big and a shooter, and go to an 8-man rotation during the playoffs.

Definitely need to add a big to the bench but I'd hate to see most of those guys go in return if it's via trade. Maybe we can add someone who gets bought out by their current team? I have no idea who that could possibly be. I assume the rotation will shorten up a bit in the playoffs but Javonte & Ayo should definitely still get minutes. I'm wondering when Williams may be back and what he can add to this team.

I live out of market, and I sure wish some of these games were on national TV so I could see what everyone is talking about. Team is 2nd in the Eastern Conference right now. Can't they flex to a few of the Bulls games?

I ponied up for the League Pass before the season started and it's one of the best decisions I've made in a while. Only game I didn't get to watch was the Heat game right before the shut down. For some reason it didn't record properly to my DVR.

Yeah, I'm in the Bucks' market so obviously I'll get those games. I'm going to check into League Pass, maybe they do a discount if you join up mid season.
