Panthers trading for Stephon Gilmore is a pretty exciting win-now move. All they gave up was some in-season cap space (couldn't care less) and a 2023 6th-rounder. Very worthy gamble.

I can’t imagine watching 60 minutes of the Fox Pregame. I assume it is basically background in bars and homes. Essentially NFL muzak.

Holy horsefeathers Bradshaw needs to retire. Guy doesn’t even know which finger Russell Wilson injured.

I haven’t been able to watch any of the pregame shows in years. I wish there was any network show out there that wasn’t some forced chuckle-fest but was more stats and analysis driven. MLB network does a decent job, sometimes.

One of my biggest pet peeves in football officiating these days is the thing where they have to pretend obvious incomplete passes are potentially fumbles on the one in a thousand chance that one of them actually is a fumble.

You would think that’s the niche NFL Network would fill. I haven’t watched their pregame in years. It was just more of the same as Fox/CBS iirc.

I guess I shouldn't care that Darnold and Carolina puked all over themselves to lose to a bad Eagles team today because Tampa is basically the NFL version of last year's Alabama anyway

Bills look fantabulous.

Their play calling is really fun. Wonder what that's like...

Eventually I'd like to see Fields scramble out of the pocket to buy time, wave his TE to go deep, then throw a dime on the run for an easy TD like Allen did last night.

I think he can do it, easily.

There's the play calls, but then there's just making it happen in that moment. Pretty sure the elite QBs overcome bad play calls or just plays that break down through calling alternates at the line and then just scrambling around. I hate having to call out Rodgers as the standard but the reality is he does this consistently and makes his coaches look better than they probably are. Also noting the number of players who fail when they leave GB....he makes them look better than they are too. That's the kind of impact Fields can have on this organization, and again I think he has it within himself to do it.
