What is so good about Premium, anyway?

This might have been asked or answered already, but why can't anyone see my avatar that I'm linking to unless they're premium? As far as I know it only eats the bandwidth from my actual host.

The regular forum isn't set up to allow linked avatars. I'll think about changing that if there's sufficient demand.

 

If we upload it, then is it seen by all?

I've been trying to upload and avatar and I get a screen that says "invalid_sesson." I also get this screen when I try to send site mail.

 

On the other hand, if I don't log into premium and just check my messages from the regular forum, I can send pm's without the strange message. Just wondering what the problem could be.

Yea, me too. I've never tried this "Site-mail" that you speak of. But i get this funky message when I tried to upload an avatar.

Those posts above are what I've been telling you about, Tim. Those happen to me, too. (uploading avatars)

It's not a big deal. For some reason, I can log out of premium and still send messages. When I'm in premium, I get that "invalid-session." Don't wear yourself out trying to just solve my little problem. I know you have other fish to fry. I just wanted to let you know about it.

I as having that problem with Firefox, so whenever I have "account maintenance" to do I just open up IE, then close it the second I'm done and go back to Firefox. :)

On the Premium browser, you can only see your own buttons for AIM, Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, etc.

 

Meaning, CT can see his own AIM button, but can't see mine. I'm the opposite.

 

On the regular board, you can see everyone's.

I'm working on getting the premium features back online right now. I'll activate the account when I've got it back up and running. The attack yesterday required me to upgrade the board software, so all of the premium modifications have to be redone.

 

I should be complete tonight, though.

It wouldn't hurt to include it. I'd include it in the subject of the PayPal transfer or write it on the memo of the check.

Please. It saves me the trouble of matching the email from paypal up to the database registration list. For checks it is a requirement since your real name doesn't get entered in my database when you register.
