The whole IL usage thing is a fine line. It’s all fun and games and strategy until time for that player to negotiate a contract and it becomes leverage used against them

 

somewhat similar, Happ had a pretty interesting discussion about his arb hearing on his podcast and how after having number of ABs be used against him made him look at being asked if he wants to come out of blowouts and lobbying for pinch hits on off days in a new light.
