So pretty good chance we end up with a 6 win NFC East champ. Current standings are Philly 3-5-1, NYG, 3-7, Wash 2-7, Dal 2-7. Remaining schedules are:

Phi: @ Cle, Sea, @ GB, NO, @ Ari, @ Dal, Wash

NYG: @ Cin, @ Sea, Ari, Cle, @ Bal, Dal

Wash: Cin, @ Dal, @ Pit, @ SF, Sea, Car, @ Phi

Dal: @ Min, Wash, @ Balt, @ Cin, SF, Phi, @ NYG

Philly has the best chance of getting to 7 because they've got the extra game but they'll be underdogs in the next five games and they'll have to win two of those (assuming they beat Dal and Wash) just to get to 7. Giants should lose at least 3 of the next 5 which puts them at 10 losses. Wash will lose 3 of the out of division games. Dallas will probably lose three also. That's not factoring in the 4 guaranteed H2H losses in there.

The division now is a combined is 2-18-1 outside of the division so far this year.

I think the craziest thing about the Hopkins catch is that the 3 defenders there were Jordan Poyer, Micah Hyde and TreDavious White, maybe the 3 best players on the Bills defense or possibly the best 3 DBs any team could possibly put together to defend on one play.

Watched this in real time then 50 times on all the highlights - Once Hopkins jumps and the ball is arriving is it illegal for one of the three BUF defenders to just grab his arm and pull it down? All three jumped with him and he of course jumped the highest and put the clamps on it. Nobody played him catching it instead of the ball.

Yeah, once he touches the ball you can do anything you want to him. But Hopkins is naturally tucking the ball and going to the ground with it. Would take an incredible amount of hand-eye coordination to time it so you get that ball out without getting a PI call.

It turns out Carolina pretty much sucks just as much as everyone thought they would but since they stubbornly won 3 games early on they won't be nearly bad enough to draft one of the top QBs. Which they will need to do because Teddy Bridgewater ain't it.

Bridgewater ain't it, but he's solid enough. They've had a rough schedule to this point too. They aren't winning anything with him, but he does buy them time to get the guy they want. I could see them taking a 2nd/3rd tier QB on Day 2 of the draft and hoping to develop him or Walker. Then 2022 draft they can go get a guy if needed. I'd kill for Bridgewater on the Bears this year. LOL

OMG Deandre Hopkins!

The last minute of that game was bonkers

Not just for those teams, but for my fantasy teams as well. I had Josh Allen in one, and I was going against Hopkins in both. That play cost me wins in both leagues. Ugh.

I lost by less than a quarter of a point to my Hopkins carrying opponent. All I needed was one more decent catch by ARob but then they tried that dumb horsefeathering screen pass and he lost yardage.

I didn't realize how close I was to being in the money with Fox's Super 6 thing. Nick Chubb dancing out of bounds instead of scoring left me 2 picks off from cashing in. Had that been the only thing, I would not be my usual sunny self today.
