They’re in the middle of like 15 games in 14 days. It sounded like a scheduled day off and nothing more to ease him back and I’m guessing they want him in every game vs the cardinals this weekend. He also has bad numbers vs Musgrove.

We’re gonna make the playoffs and we’ve seen what’s happened with him when he tries to play through things. He either sucks or has to be IL’d again. Making sure he’s managed the final ~25 games so he’s as close to 100% for the playoffs is the complete right move. Especially because they actually kinda have depth now.
