I thought we were facing both Gray and Castillo in this series. Did I just imagine that?

Gray was pushed back a start, so no Castillo

They bumped everyone back a game and added Gausman to the rotation for the rest of the year. Nice break for us, also means Gray goes vs the VBs in their series when they would’ve missed him (they also get Bauer or Castillo too in that one).

DO NOT pitch to Suarez.

That is all.

For context:

Suarez' 2019 stats: .271/.350/.580/.930, 47 HR 100 RBI (611 PAs)

Suarez' 2019 vCubs: .381/.423/.825/1.248, 8 HR 19 RBI (71 PAs)

We’re gonna clinch the division at Busch, aren’t we.

Yes

My good friend bartender is a huge Cardinal fan from StL. That would be fantastic.

This reminded me of something. I think they mentioned it during the broadcast yesterday but I looked up the full numbers.

The Cubs, as a team, for the three game set over the weekend hit .419/.496/.872/1.368.

I actually had that pulled up as a follow up, but then I thought that It's Always Sunny had to have done it too. So I looked for that and didn't find anything and didn't come back to Silvio.

Yes, on Friday the 27th. Also the VB's will take the 2 WC from the Cardinals, beat the Nationals in the play in game, and take out the Dodgers. Meanwhile the Cubs will take out the Braves and then eliminate the Brewers in the NLCS, washing away the sins of 2018.

Oh great I forgot Aristedes Aquino existed. Is he going to be another guy that the rest of MLB seems to have figured out but the Cubs don't get the memo?
