I don't hate it at all; it's a total non-move. He's just a player I like making fun of.

[expletive], this post only managed to get even weirder.

I feel like it holds its own. Otherwise, why would you quote it?

Meh, he most likely sucks but he still put up okay numbers vs RHP last year (believe over .800 OPS though don’t know how much that’s Coors related). If he plays 2-3 times a week vs RHP maybe he’s productive. He’s likely taking Descalso/Bote/Almora ABs away vs RHP, the bar ain’t that high.

Almora and Bote are solid defenders though, which Gonzalez definitely isn't.

.

Damon Berryhill, Steve Buechelle, Scott Sanderson, Mike Bielecki, Luis Salazar, Rey Sanchez, Doug Dascenzo, Les Lancaster, Paul Assenmacher, etc. I couldn't tell you a thing about many of them but the mention of their names brings me right back to being a 10 year old.

How can you forget Héctor Villanueva? I always loved Harry mispronouncing his name.

He sure as hell knew how to pronounce Doug Dascenzo. He gushed over that guy every time he made even a routine play.

ffs on Instagram the Cubs had a fan question q&a with him and the first question they used was "How did you get your nickname?" and he explained it.

They found him passed out drunk in the cargo hold of a FedEx plane? Is that it?

I thought it was after his favorite type of pant.

Poorly worded maybe but it's not that bad of a question. Who started calling him that, when he started embracing it, etc. are par for the course as far as lame non-baseball questions. I think we can give this person the benefit of the doubt and assume that they weren't interested in the etymology.

Freddie Mitchell had his own plane?

I will give the benefit of the doubt that it was a kid under 12, anything else is unacceptable.

But that just raises the question of parents allowing access to instagram to kids under 12.

Shorts, actually, but I'll allow it.

Meh, it's a pretty standard type of thing that would come up in Vineline (RIP) or an equivalent team-sponsored bio.

"It's funny -- the first person to call me CarGo was my high school manager. He was a great mentor to me, blah blah blah."

Definitely not the one question I'd ask the guy though.
