I know somewhere on this board someone wondered if Murray would be measured at the combine, he was and he's 5' 10 1/8"

 

Yeah, I was discussing this awhile back with someone (in general baseball chit-chat). I said he was capable of playing in the NFL and that he seemed barely shorter than Russell Wilson. I thought he had a brighter future in baseball than football, but I'm not sure about that anymore.

 

He's 5' 10 1/8" and Wilson is 5' 10 5/8", according to ESPN. So this really shouldn't be a big deal anymore. Hopefully, he plays well and opens more opportunities for undersized QBs going forward.

Goes to show how much body types matter regarding your perception of size. I've never thought Wilson looked drastically undersized as a QB. He seemed to be shortish like Brees, but nothing too dramatic. However, something about Murray's frame makes him look like a dwarf out there.

Is it wrong to assume every half inch starts to make a progressively bigger impact the further down in height?

Raiders getting Antonio Brown for a 3rd and a 5th. He'll get a new 3 year, 54M deal.

 

Seems crazy that the Raiders got a 1st back for Cooper but gave up way less for Brown. I know Cooper is younger but he's only 1 year from getting paid and isn't nearly as good of a receiver as Brown is.

Solid start to the offseason....Osemele’s massive, talented, often really good, and at 30 hardly old for a guard. I like this much better than paying Saffold
