“Re-Kindle? I’m iPad-ing these days.”

Maddon grinned.

FJM

i had wasted all my cringe on the IBM line by the time i got to that point

I have bad news for you if you think that was the problem, Albert

he has some holes in his game to be sure, but i think he could still be a really valuable player with some mental adjustments like learning how to use telekinesis to turn shitty groundballs to the shortstop into 900 foot home runs

i dont think "struggles" is a strong enough word to describe his second half .300 ops

He was a pitcher at the plate for 50%+ of the year. From middle June on he had a wRC+ in the 40s and wOBA under .250.

Only credit I'll give him at this point in regards to his batting is when he hits a home run they look as pretty as any other right handed hitter in baseball. But he doesn't ding enough dongers for that to be useful

I check in on the comments of Bleacher Nation posts whenever I want to see what the rabble thinks about the team

Almora is a fine option to lead off against a lefty.

He should never, ever see a PA against a righty if it can be avoided, though.

Pretty much guarantees Almora leads off/takes our first AB of 2019, horsefeathering fantastic.

did Almora punch you or a loved one in the face

No, I just don’t like shitty players on my team. Especially ones put in a role they aren’t qualified for and are overplayed.
