really stings to have lost all three of those games that could have easily gone the other way knowing that we could otherwise be in a position to make the rams and/or saints come through cold ass soldier field in january

i would feel a bit better about our superbowl chances if we could have those teams at home

not to mention the obvious benefits of the bye

For me the Dolphins game stings the most. Osweiler, good lord.

that loss really sucked but idk if i remember a worse regular season loss (independent of playoff implications or whatever) than week 1 in my entire couple of decades watching this team

Yop. I was in total 'lol boars' mode after that loss. They really managed to turn it around.

it was weird. i was so mad/disappointed after that game but i also didn't feel bad about the team. i felt like they somehow showed dominance...of course, it could be that i was very drunk and mostly blacked out the part where things went awry.

that fun opening drive where they marched down and scored plus all of the mack craziness, mostly.

I think if that game was played any week but week 1 the Bears hold on to win.

The only worse loss I can remember was I think 1989, the Bears were having a decent season and blew a 23-0 lead at Minnesota. Ditka wanted to kill Jim Harbaugh for throwing at least 1 pick 6. I will have to go checkout profootballreference.com and see if my memory serves me correctly.

he did, threw it into the flat and I think Joyner took it the other way for 6. Ditka nearly had a head pop on the sidelines

ETA: it was 1992 and it was Todd Scott who intercepted the pic 6

Rodgers to Cobb in 2013 was easily one of the most deflating moments of my sports-watching life. And all while it was happening it was impossible not to think of the fumble that we refused to attempt to recover. I believe it was Anderson who had 80 yards of green in front of him and just gave up on the play. horsefeathers that dumb ass game was so annoying.

I was living oversees at the time and just got back from an early morning weekend trip to login to my nfl network to see the very end of that meltdown.

whattttttt (at the second tweet)

Emerys draft picks are finally coming around (except Shea).

in fairness, Bostic was more regarded then Shea. I'm not sure if he was worth their 2nd rd pick but certainly considered by a lot of teams. He had size and speed, never equated in the NFL until recently. But then again he's only 27.

I'm happy for Bostic. I liked the pick.

Any Austin, TX residents on here by chance? I may be stopping there on my way home Sunday to watch the game and need to find a place to watch, hopefully with other Bears fans. My initial Google search didn't show much info.

Googled "Chicago Bears bar Austin, Texas" which yielded

It's Chase Daniel again on Sunday.

That sucks

Not because I think it dramatically hurts our chances of winning (though it is a drawback) but because I want to see Trubisky play more

So what's the tiebreaker if we end up tied with the Saints for a bye?

EDIT: Looks like it is conference record and both of their losses are in the NFC while only one of the Bears losses is in the conference.
