Nobody cares about my FCS team but...

UC Davis won more than 6 games for the first time since moving up to FCS, went 9-2 and is the #6 seed in the FCS playoffs. I’m horsefeathering stoked. Dan Hawkins is the coach and they’re a fun team to watch only scored less than 40 twice this year, against Stanford and against Eastern Washington, who is the 3 seed.

Hoping they can at least win their first game and we’ll see what happens from there.

Go Ags!

Assuming BAMA, Clemson and ND win out, Oklahoma still gets in over Ohio St, right?

Pretty good chance IMO, but you never know with the committee. OU wouldn't have any wins as impressive as this one and their defense is really really awful. On the other hand, Purdue and Maryland.

Yeah, without having gone game by game through the schedule, I’d say OU gets the nod. The problem for OSU is Oklahoma was already four spots ahead, got a good road win this week and will have a chance at a better win than OSU next week. Even if OSU blast NW like they did Wisconsin a couple years ago and OU looks terrible and wins by 3, I’m not sure it would be enough.

As I have mentioned, there is no way the NCAA keeps Bama out of the playoff. BS holding call, then Unsportsmanlike against Gus.

I know they aren't supposed to base things on this, but there's a chance to pit the 1-2 guys in the Heisman race against each other in the playoffs....they have to go OU. OU simply looks like a better team than OSU to me, defense be damned.

So is Ohio State’s

So for sure in the playoff we have

Notre Dame

Alabama-Georgia winner

Clemson is in with a win

Then it comes down to Oklahoma or Ohio State. I still don’t think Bama gets in with a loss especially if Oklahoma wins but i suppose they could beat out OSU if they lose close and OSU looks like crap and barely beats NW.

Wouldn’t be opposed to seeing Texas, NW, Bama, Clemson and UCF win just to see if the committee would go UCF or a two loss team.

It's too bad the CFB congoscenti is going to spend the next week rehashing the close SC win and not the three blowouts and one fairly easy win that preceded it, but being in is cool.
