Win turds

But alas I’ll be drinking to celebrate the end of whatever these last seven months were

Drink for every weak contact out in a hitters count, drink for every 2 strike hit given up, drink for every one pitch at bat out(Almora), beer chug for every TOOTBLAN(Rizzo) and drink for every injury reference.

So yeah I’ll be fucked by the second inning. Good times

Freeland being a fastball/slider pitcher strikes out 10 and still has a pitch count around 60 heading to the seventh

No Cub dongs, but Blackmon, Story, Dahl and Desmond all go deep for the Rox.

Looking at a 2017 Game 5 like beatdown

We’re gonna hit 4 walkoffs this playoff season and win the World Series

I hope this is true, and one of them is NOT tonight.

Whatever leads to a win

Factoid: Cubs are 5-2 when facing elimination under Joe Maddon. They’ve scored 37 runs in those games and given up 39.

Before 2015, the Cubs were 5-14 when facing elimination. Also, they eventually lost 4 of the 5 series that they won those games in.

Golden Era indeed

I will be absolutely shocked if we ..i see a 5-1 Colorado win....that being said it would be fine if the Cubs woke up and get back into the big boy playoffs

Of course I'm bias but, does it sound as if the ESPN staff is creaming in their pants for the Rockies?

MLB Tonight crew was doing the same I felt. Kyle Freeland is Madbum, David Dahl is the most dangerous 7th hitter ever, etc etc.

Irritating, maybe not surprising given the Cubs looked pathetic yesterday.

OK, boys and girls. I'm following the game via this glorious thread. Here's to some happy posts and good ones. And don't get too negative if a guy gets on first because it makes me think we gave up two runs.

Good luck with that. Cubs fans tonight are going to have less composure than the dude who broadcasted the Hindenburg blowing up.

I get it. Everyone knows about the Cubs and their played. They are trying to hype up this game by hyping up the Rockies players who are relatively unknown

Don’t know if some said this but this game means we have played the whole NL west in a playoff game. Leaving only the Phillies, Reds, and Brewers left for us in the NL and the possibility to play the Brewers is on the line.

West

Padres-84

Giants-89, 16

Dbacks-07

Dodgers-08, 16, 17

East

Braves-98, 03

Marlins-03

Mets-15

Nats-17

Phillies-Never

Central

Pirates-15

Cardinals-15

Brewers-Never

Reds-Never

I mentioned that yesterday. I did some additional digging and I believe the only team that has faced more teams from their respective league is the Braves who have faced everyone except the Nats and Brewers
