Tickets getting very affordable. If I lived in a Chicago I would go. If I had school age children I would take them.

To teach them the type of difficult life lessons that no parent wants to actually have to try and explain?

i feel very good about the fact that we're in the playoffs regardless so i can turn this game off if it begins badly and then just walk around downtown listening to it instead

I was that way yesterday...I was thrilled when they went ahead, but I wasn't stressing about it much.

For some reason I'm stressing about this one.

Having to play a stupid tiebreaker against the stupid Brewers with a stupid, shambling, broken down wreck of a team seems like it's pretty obviously more than "some reason."

How is this dude consistently on the wrong side of every take?

you should have seen his tweets during the Bears game yesterday. They were somehow still in a 6:1 ∞:0 ratio of negative to positive tweets.

Why do we have to play this game when we have the better head-to-head record against Milwaukee this season?

Because the MLB decreed that the Cubs have to play every single day no matter what until the end of time.

Keep them from donging with people on base and we win. This Brewers team reminds me of our 2015 team. Dong or nothing.

Man, I miss that team.

Not very inspired by Q, despite him pitching well against the Brewers, but baseball is weird and stupid, and horsefeathers the Brewers. Let’s do this.

Same here. He by far has had the worst season of any starter today, but 1 game is 1 game and Q has been an up and down pitcher. When he's on he's on.

That said, I am interested to see how Joe approaches the game. Normally I'd expect a quick hook, but with a potential game tomorrow, does he actually give Q a little more leash, or does he go with his B bullpen like yesterday and hope they can keep the game in reach?

I'm going to say he goes 5 innings and gives up 2 runs.
