I can see how going to Wilson was the right move. Arcia vs LHP/RHP shouldn’t matter, he’s Orlando Arcia and sucks and you’d rather have Wilson vs a RHB option vs Cishek’s vs Shaw or Thames or Granderson. Going to Cishek in a K spot was dumb and then to Kintzler at all and probably should’ve just let Chavez ride it out to begin with. But get how Wilson was probably the rightish move, the decisions after it sucked.

I can’t even be that mad at Maddon to be honest. The dudes just can’t hit

In just following the game via the board today, I think that's the part that actually hasn't gotten as much attention as the pitching and Joe.

It doesn't matter what the starter or the bullpen does when you just can't score many runs off this team. As somebody said this summer, the Brewers seem to have the cheat codes for this offense. It's not like the Cubs don't struggle offensively at times any way, but it's a constant one or two or three runs at the most in the majority of these games against them. It's pretty crazy.

As crap as Maddon and the injuries have been the lineup inexplicably going to horsefeathers from terrible At Bats to just slow bat speed is what pisses me off.

If we were beat because of the injured bullpen its a tough pill to swallow but injuries happen.

The offense...our core disappearing is what sucks.

We might as well score exactly one run off Hader to complete the most frustrating good regular season in history

At this point I hope the Dodgers lose and we go out them for one game. It seems like that is our best chance to eliminate them. If not I hope they kill milwaulee

If the speed of this forum is indicitive of the board during the playoffs, perhaps its good that it will be over soon.

Wasn't the speed of the forum equivalent of this offense during the 2016 playoffs? Maybe it's a good sign

Again Heyward vs. a Devastating lefty with one of your final 6 outs and the division on the line.

Wake the horsefeathers up Joe.
