What's a better role for Almora against tough right-handers than setting the table for our good hitters? Driving them in.

Javy drives himself and others in. Almora is just a 2nd leadoff man...wait, why is Joe batting Almora 2nd leadoff vs RHP!!??

Man I’m good

javy's basically adjusted to the majors the same way he did every level of the minors, it just took him longer

he never walked all that much but he just said horsefeathers it i'll put up a monster slash line anyway at every level

ok i guess javy's just a superstar isn't he

lol he's doing this with a 3 percent walk rate, it seems impossible.

Cervelli hits a 310 foot pop up for a HR, Willy hits a piss rocket 400+ feet for a double. Stupid sport

don't blame the sport for a shitty park design.

A couple of the games I went to in Chicago were with friends who really don't follow baseball, and I feel like me trying to explain what a baseball mutant freak Baez is made me sound like a lunatic.

You turds have no idea what heat is unless you have to live in the garbage hot sponge that is Virginia. I was chilly as horsefeathers at the games in the shade.

I think I've decided Addy doesn't do horsefeathers on offense.

He’s been bad for some time, it seems, after that stretch where he got hot to get his BA to ~.270s and OPS in the .700s

Yeah, sometimes I start to think he's going to be one of those classic old-school shortstops, the all-world defense, relatively no-hitting variety. At this point, I'd just settle for him slugging .400.

I was just going to suggest that getting through 5 and not being behind should be a '18 Cubs quality start... nvm
