What is a sacrifice hit?

It's one way to term a sac bunt. It might be the official way, I'm not sure, but I've certainly seen it called that.

i dont understand why we put all this focus and emphasis on walking less guys and we only get worse and worse.

i'm going to submit that we don't have enough power arms so we have lots of nibblers who don't have elite command

who woulda thought the guy that walks a batter per inning was a bad choice for the top of the 9th of a tie game.

You’re not going to have a righty pitch to Carpenter there, you just aren’t. So your choices are Wilson or Duensing

That probably accounts for a lot of it but last in baseball in BB by a fair amount?

Hate to say it, but we should’ve done much more damage in the 6th. KB needs to do more than a weak little grounder in that spot. Edited by Schwarber Fan

I hate to say it, but I think the bullpen had what they needed to close it out and just didn't.

he has an OPS of over 1.000 vs lefties

I blame all of this on Chatwood for not being able to pitch deeper into game one and I'm sticking to it

and fine, let him face carpenter. then when he walks him yank his worthless ass if you’re fine with using cishek anyway.

Len claims he lets the coach call the shots when he gets run. If so wonder Joe pulls the trigger after the walk
