Happ was on second, Heyward hit a dribbler towards first, Wood tried to flip it to 1B on the run with his glove it got by the fat horsefeathers at 1B in to short RF almost and the 2B was there to back up and Happ came around to score on a close play and great slide

Swinging bunt down the 1B line, Wood tried to flip it to the 1B, it looked like and he acted like he caught it so the Ump called him out but he looked back to see the ball rolling away and switches right to safe. 1B picks it up and tries to get Happ at home he didn't break for home till the ball got away.

He has the stuff to literally be the best reliever in MLB if he can get the BB rate to even just Colorado Chatwood.

It’s not the spot for AAAA fodder like Anthony Bass and Luke Farrell either since you have like 7 guys like them within your own organization or can get one for literally nothing if you want via trade or FA at anytime. Go with the upside arm not the horsefeathers arms.

 

I’d rather gamble bringing in Maples that he has his good stuff going to embarrass dudes than hope Farrell, Bass, etc contact manage and get BABIP luck
