Damn this team to hell for never scoring runs

Every time I do the math and see that the Cubs average 5 runs/game, I swear there is a typo on their stats page

As far as entertainment value, the Cubs are waaaay too boring too often for the talent they have.

Nothing some new coaches can’t fix next year

They're very fun and very awesome far more often than they are boring.

I honestly don't think that's been the case this year. Or maybe they have been boring more often and it just feels that way. Because in like 70 games, there has been a lot of boredom. We even had like the most boring five or six game winning streak ever.

We're playing at a 94-win pace. We continually make highlight reel plays on defense and on the bases. Javy Baez is a member of our squad. Jason Heyward hit a walk-off grand slam. We've had a ton of exciting divisional match-ups with the Cards and Brewers.

You might have had me until your last sentence.

Which game this week do you think we will have our 10+ run outburst?

The Reds Thursday-Sunday. That will get their run per game average up. Probably will score 11,12,1,2 runs for a split. Added in with this series vs the Dodgers of 3,0,1 runs is 5 runs per game.

Do you not enjoy good baseball games against divisional rivals? Ones that have had numerous walkoffs and late-inning rallies? Ones we're 11-8 in this year?
