I don't ever recall a Theo/Jed draft with so many reported Six Figure bonuses in rounds 11+.

So far 8 in 2018:

TBD (6): RHP Jake Reindl (17), RHP Layne Looney (19), HS OF Julian Boyd (26), RHP Niels Stone (27), HS LHP Mitchell Parker (28), OF Edmond Americaan (35)

looked it up

2017: 6 (Lacy, Hecht, Hughes, Remy, Upshaw, Singleton)

2016: 2 (Zinn, Sweeney)

2015: 0?

Nevermind. I missed the "TBD" part of your post.

No, TBD meaning they are unsigned but potentially could add to the six figure bonus count. None of the guys on that list are college SR so I figure its possible if they sign it would be 100k+. I'm sure it will take more than that for Parker

Yeah, just saw that as I re-read your post. Sorry, I blame drinking early on the holiday.

Thanks for putting that together. I had a feeling there has been more 6-figure bonuses than usual after the 10th round. Even a couple of bonuses that affect the bonus pool, which isn’t a frequent occurrence.

The max they can offer a player outside the top 10 rounds is $208,955.

Well, looks like they spent all they could.

Americaan is a JC guy, but he's not young. Full 21-year-old, just like a college junior would be, and he's older than many of our top-ten college guys (Hoerner, Richan, Weber, Roberts, ARtis, and MOrt are all either younger or not more than a week older than Americaan.

They really opened it up this draft.....

Top 10 bonuses

Hoerner SS 2.724(1st)

Roederer HS OF 1.2(2nd Rd Supp)

Davis HS OF 1.1(2nd)

Franklin HS RHP .540(6th)

Herron OF.520(3rd)

Richan RHP.450(2nd Rd Supp)

Weber 2B .400(5th)

Artis OF .250(7th)

Americaan OF .208(35th)

Thompson RHP .200(11th)

Other 100k+ bonuses

Allen RHP .150 (20th)

Mort RHP .140 (8th)

Roberts RHP .130 (4th)

Casey RHP .130 (9th)

Reynolds 3B/1B .125 (10th)

Sanders RHP .125 (12th)

Pagan HS OF .125 (13th)

McCauley RHP .125 (14th)

Sawyer LHP .125 (16th)

Durna 1B .100 (15th)

Slaughter SS .100 (18th),

With a solid chance Greindl gets added to the list. Pabon got 50k too. This HAS to be the most 6 figure bonuses they've handed out by a wide margin probably.

Holy Hell at Carter Stewart likely passing up over 4 million to sign with Mississippi State...and JT Ginn too. Nice haul for Mississippi State to get two first rounders.

I'm optimistic about Hoglund passing on the Pirates and showing up at Ole Miss. Guess I'll know shortly.

Hoglund's senior stats are just stupid btw. 52 innings, 0.27 ERA, 105k's and 2 walks.

I can’t believe how many pitchers are passing up 7 figures when we all know how iffy pitcher’s health is. For every Gerrit Cole, there’s a Karsten Whitson horror story.

Totally. It's one thing for a hitter to gamble on themselves, but a pitcher? Take that money now.
