You could have at least added some stuff about how he's been a below average fielder this year so he could at least have that going for him.

Since posting this article, the Cubs as a team have combined for a .189/.247/.282/.528 line and scored 14 total runs in 7 games.

Edit: Oh yeah and Heyward is 1-16 since then for a .067/.222/.133/.356 line.

Please write an article or make some type of post or proclamation about Rizzo's poor approach to his ABs this year as opposed to last.

I've also noticed that he's moved back up closer to the plate -- almost immediately after I wrote that article.

Remember from the article, he slugged .293 on pitches on the inner third last year, thanks to an 82.5 mph average exit velocity. At the time of the article, he was slugging .643 on such pitches, with a 91.1 mph average exit velocity.

Since the article, his average exit velocity on the inner third is 77.8 mph. This is his only hit: http://mediadownloads.mlb.com/mlbam/mp4/2018/05/20/2061097983/1526776915866/asset_1200K.mp4

On the outer third and over the heart of the plate, Heyward had been fine -- his Slugging % was above league average last year on pitches there. Since the article, his average exit velocity on pitches over the heart of the plate and on the outer third is 91.4 mph and he has an xSLG of .617. Still fine there. But he is again completely helpless on the inner third.

For a visual reference, here are some screengrabs from the article.
