When is the last time the Hawks scored 10 times in a game? Feel like we probably did it against Edmonton in the last handful of years. Either way awesome performance.

The Blackhawks' 10 goals was the most scored by the team in nearly 30 years, according to ESPN, and it was the most surrendered by Pittsburgh since 1996. And it marks quite the start to the season for both sides, albeit in starkly contrasting fashion.

Q typically doesn't try to run up the score on other teams. Of course if the other team can't manage any sort of defense there isn't a lot he can do.

It's tough with hockey...it's not like you can bench your starters. Seabrook's goal made it pretty clear they were screwing around and trying different things. How often do you see him set up in front of the net like that? Hard to tell someone to not instinctively try to bat in a rebound like that.

Sounds like Schmaltz is ok (and Kero too, for what it's worth)....he looked really good last night.

After 10 games the Hawks are on pace for 98 points for the season which likely would put them in 3rd place/ 1st wild card position.

All shall kneel before Saad.

Rutta has been a pleasant surprise.

DeBrincat is going to be a star.

on the other hand

Seabrook has looked like a shadow of his former self.

Anisimov and Sharp look slow

Forsling shows flashes then makes some mistake.

The Hawks really need one more center. Kero has gotten himself stapled to the bench. Wingels isn't a center and his possession numbers suck. Need more time to evaluate Schmaltz.

There's still plenty of time and young talent to make this post look stupid in a few months but it's sad how quickly this team has gone from contender to maybe fringe playoff team. They look slow and sloppy. Seabrook Keith and Toews are shells of their former selves. Ugh

Somehow the Bears have become the 2nd most promising team in Chicago

I would have thought they'd give Vegas an outdoor game. Or did they already do that?

I would think so to but with the Mandalay Bay shooting and a large public gathering in an open area next to high rise hotels I don't think they would do it anytime soon.

Is there a football stadium that they could use? Maybe they'll just wait until the Raiders are there.

UNLV's would work.
