This doesn't change my opinion of him long term but he hasn't looked all that great in the 2nd half. I think he's 2-11 passing

Of course.

There’s this vaunted running game but to hell with it.

I thought we saw some bad calls by the officials during the Cubs game, but this Bears game takes it to a whole 'nother level.

What a frustrating game. But you knew there would be growing pains. mitch looked pretty good.

It's not like the team is making the playoffs anyways.

Good news is only like 4-5 starters suffered injuries tonight. There are still like 3-4 opening week starters left healthy so yay!

Refs decided the game. Any and all atyempts to analyze what happened are pointless. The refs just gift-wrapped the game. I mean, it makes no difference who did what and when, just that last [expletive] holding call decided the game.

wasted all that great field position in the first half

Doesnt matter, they played well enough to win, but the refs called back a td on bs and called Floyd for holding on bs.

The only thing that matters in this game is how inept the refs were, it was all about them.

Flags suck. League has a huge problem. Not fun to watch games decided by yellow banners at the bottom of the screen.

Fix this.

Trubisky looked fine, which is pretty good for a rookie QB in his situation. He does a really good job of putting himself in position to make a throw. He did make a fair number of throws into tight coverage, but I can't tell how many of those were bad reads and how many were just that his receivers are completely awful and tight coverage is the best he's going to get.

A) it looked blatant live.

B) they were already going to score

C) the bears offense wasn't going to do anything with no deep threat.

And the Vikings have a really good defense.

Basically, screw defense, pick wide receivers early. I want them looking at bringing back Alshon, too.

yeah, putting him out there with absolutely no weapons seems to be setting him up to fail.
