yay, was able to flip over in time to see Maples against 2 batters.

BB and then 3K is pretty good for having sat around for a couple of weeks.

Schwarber used to have such a good eye and he still does on occasion but I see him swinging at some real garbage these days

His bad judgement though is when he’s already put himself in good counts. He’s not like Javy where it’s just hacks, like he’s working himself to 2-2, 3-2 counts. Then he hacks, which is a coin flip at that point

Justin Wilson never change... oh wait, yes please change pretty much everything you've become since joining the team.

Schwarber's 30-game rolling O-Swing% is pretty much the lowest it's been in his career right now:

Sometimes my eyes are as bad as Tommy Phams watching games

I think your point was correct. But I think his problems are more due to the 2 strike part of it. I feel like he fouls off a ton of pitches with 2 strikes and can't put the ball in play. So he just keeps taking hacks until he can no longer foul them off and he strikes out.

That could be [expletive], too. But it definitely feels like there is something in him that makes him flip a switch for some reason with regards to his plate discipline.

And now I will not flip over to the game unless

I know the Cubs are batting because I have no desire to see a walkoff when there is no meaning to this game for the Cubs
