Also the Brewers do weird shifts and stuff so they should’ve known there was a decent chance Walker wouldn’t be the one covering so the right side isn’t guaranteed to be open

After the leadoff single the [expletive] gets out of the inning on 9 pitches so he is easily available for 1 more if not 2

I probably would've let Montgomery pitch and only gone to Edwards if there's trouble, but I guess if I rant and rave about not using a closer(when available) in situations like this I can't complain too much. Especially if Montgomery wasn't truly available to go 2 strong.
