As long as the Dodgers dont win it all I will be happy this season. The 5 year championship rule is in effect, so if this year plays out like it looks hopefully the front office makes a few moves to make sure it gets better next year

I hope it's vs us, but I don't care if it's not. I greatly look forward to Oliver Perez and his stupid wind up, blowing up for the Nats in the playoffs and costing them games.

this season reminds me of the 2015 team pre-august so much. fortunately we still have an entire extra month to turn it around before then. and we don't have two (basically) 100 win teams in our division. oh and we get to play those division teams a lot too.

We aren't getting past Washington this year.

Whoa. This means you think they are making the playoffs. With you back on the playoff wagon that leaves me as the lone ninny again.

at least your prediction is a little more rational in the sense that the regular season is predictable

The 2017 season. I's the horsefeathers that happens while you're waiting on moments that never come.

That team just sucked on offense, though. Second half 2015 Jake Arrieta ain't walking through that door.

Nor is he needed to. And they'll probably trade for someone better than Dan Haren this time.

And they weren't great on offense, but they didn't suck.

does to me. except it was following a 73 win season, not 103 and a world series.

lester was up and down a lot early, hendricks was just OK, bullpen blew a few games with jerks like brian schlitter and phil coke, we had complete trash bags starting at least every 5th day like wood, wada, (later haren), etc. and we'd hover around .500 and seemingly were incapable of getting more than 3-4 games over.

oh and bryant was complete ass for like a month. got swept by the shitty ass phillies (oh, and no-hit too).

lots of extremely frustrating things were happening that year before they took off on that insane august/sept run.
