Must win game (at some level) and you bring in Uehara to pitch. Don't agree with the choice. Edited by TMan92

1-9 with RISP today, 1-7 yesterday, 1-10 the day before, 0-14 in LA.

That's a .075 BA with RISP. To understand how bad that is, Jon Lester has a .084 BA as a Cub

Well, they are due. It would be great if that elusive 20 run game comes vs the Cardinals this weekend

The play to sum up the whole trip was the Baez grounder with Willson at second. Myers makes absolutely the wrong play by going for the swipe scoop and of course instead of it skipping away and giving the Cubs the lead, he gets it.

I say no more game threads until they are 10 games above .500, until them use the fatalism thread to discuss all things going on in games

Wait. What? Didn't they score on that?

17 hits in 49.2 IP against pitchers not named Clayton Kershaw on the road trip. That's an average of 3.1 hits per 9 innings

No. Happened in the 6th or 7th.

Oh never mind. I stopped watching after the 4th. Didn't even see this play.

Contreras was on first on the one they scored on. Contreras was at 2nd on this one and instead of driving in a run the 2nd baseman made a diving stop on the SS side of the bag and Myers' blind squirrel attempt at the throw found an acorn. Contreras was stranded at 3rd after.
