Regarding the DVD/Blu-Rays:

The 8 disc set appears to be the 7 WS games, as well as the two clinching games from the NLDS and NLCS. Are there any extras?

The 2 disc set appears to be this film - what are the extras?

Just went to my local Chicago-area Costco, and there are several dozen copies of the Blu-Ray combo version of the film. $24.99 plus tax.

2 disc set has the regular season/WS hightlights, clinching moments (NL Central division, NLDS, and NLCS), WS parade highlights, and a David Ross tribute.

I imagine the 8 disc set is the same. I wondered if it would have more.

The regular season highlights was fun to watch. It was basically Jake no hitter last out, Lester suicide squeeze, and a bunch of DONGS.

Is the NLDS clincher on there? The ad I saw for the 8-disc set just mentioned the WS games plus the pennant clincher.

This is what I desperately want to know as well...I've got all the WS games and Game 6 on my DVR, but none of the NLDS games.

Honestly, I'd love a documentary package of the entire postseason - I want the pitcher dongs from the NLDS, Addison getting horsefeathers going in the NLCS, I want Javy doing all of the ridiculous Javy stuff in the first two rounds (getting picked off third and stealing home, for example).

Someone go do that, please.

Just so you and everybody else who is interested knows you can find every playoff game here:

All the games are with the commercials edited out. For games 6 and 7 you have to find a way to trick YouTube into thinking you are in another country.

I'll put it here, in case its not anywhere else.... MLBN is showing a doc called Joy of Wrigleyville tomorrow night(Thursday the 8th) at 8PM EST. No players are interviewed, its all about fans. I think Costas is the host, Cusack narrates.(what a horsefeathering combo)

At any rate, its probably going to be good, even with those two attached.

That was pretty good, and Costas only spoke at the very beginning for a few seconds.

Yeah, some of it was a little hokey/over the top, and definitely something I'd make fun of if it was for any other team. But I was definitely smiling through most of it.

Finally watched this and it is great. As weird as it is to complain about a documentary about the Cubs winning the World Series, but I was a little disappointed in the coverage of game 5. The crazy bobble by Ross and snag by Rizzo was played in a clip earlier but not brought up and neither was Heyward climbing the right field wall. When a big part of the Cubs story is how strange things go wrong, I personally thought those 2 crazy defensive plays were a big part of the story of the turn around game.

Also should have cut the Indians Major League stuff and put in Rizzo's turning the Rocky series into their motivation.

You'd think that now that I know the outcome, this would be easier to watch, but no. That game 7 still has me chewing my fingers to the bone no matter how many times I watch it. I don't think I've ever gone through such an extreme range of emotion in such a small time.

I know how Carrie felt; one minute, best day ever; then wham, horsefeathers city. Then after taking a minute to process it, she's all horsefeathers it, I'm gonna kill everyone.

Those two plays are in the World Series highlights bonus feature, but they should have been included in the film. Still, this was a great film, especially since it came out only a month after the World Series ended. I bought a copy and watched it last night. When watching the film, my emotions from the World Series came flooding back to me, and I was cheering and praying during the film just like I was when watching the games back in October - November. The extras were also great, and I would definitely recommend this film to anyone who's a baseball fan.
