My mom ordered me a framed press plate of the Tribune cover. About 8 weeks later it finally showed up apparently. I'm pretty jazzed about it.

Also, for people still wanting swag, Lids is having a pretty sweet 50% off apparel and 25% off novelties deal. Got myself one of the long sleeved shirts for like 8 bucks. Some of the hats are just $10 too, I think.

You can get a Kris Bryant shersey with the WS patch for just $16. Might have to get that.

Thanks both of you. Got the Bryant WS shirsey and locker room hoodie for a total of $24 including shipping. Wanted to get the Nike hoodie too but after I put it in my cart and came back it was out of stock

Went with this hat - $10

Thanks for the tip

you can buy almost literally anything on amazon. credit there is not a hard thing to get rid of.

Gee thanks. Had no idea.

I was given the credit to get some swag but I think I'll have to get it elsewhere. Its amazing that a site can have a hundred shirt designs and they all suck

ETA: Amazon has most of the same designs that Cubs.com has, which also suck

i'm just saying it may as well be cash

buy something else there that you were gonna buy anyway and use money to buy your cubs swag elsewhere if you can't find anything you like

Good call. Probably your only option to get a single piece of memorabilia which commemorates both a Cubs WS berth and Penn State beating Ohio State.

I'm sure it's not the only place, but Chicagoland Kohl's stores have all of their Cubs WS stuff at 70% off. T-shirts are like $7. Stock up so you can keep wearing these for the rest of your life.

Thanks for the tip! Got a few more Cubs t-shirts, and they were $8.40 each (plus tax).

i ordered a world series champion keychain bottle opener the night of game seven and got an email two days ago that it shipped. i had completely forgotten about it.

ordered this in december...they said it should ship by march...at that rate it better be the real damn trophy

I got mine in November. The price is steep, but there's really no other affordable trophy reproductions out there. The base is cheap plastic with thin cardboard panels glued on. . . . .it will age poorly. But, it's a friggin WS trophy and it's awesome. I have it on a table in my office and it gets lots of comments.

Yeah I got the same thing from my parents for Christmas. It's still pretty darned cool. I would not myself spend that money on it though, haha.

I'm guessing this has been discussed somewhere, but I'm lazy: Are there any videos like the World Series video that have full season highlights, or at least for the playoffs? Or is there any word on whether such a video is in the works?

Probably not helpful but there is basically every relevant minute of the season available on YouTube in some really well produced highlight videos. I can't recall anyone ever producing a licensed full season highlight DVD for a championship team, but if you have a chromecast or something you can fireup videos for hours on YouTube.

Yeah, as for Youtube, I have used clipconverter or keepvid to download some of my favorite videos and then put them into a Cubs folder I created in Plex. It is one of my favorite things I have done. I have more than a few cubs videos from the past two years. Here are some of my favorites from this year.

I like this one for regular season highlights:

I like this one a lot for world series highlights. It has highlights from all games:

Here is one for the NLCS:

I love the ones that are like "Every Kris Bryant Home Run 2016". Fun to watch dong after dong after dong. There is even one that has every single Cubs HR last year in order.
