It really freaking scares me that our second best reliever isn't even in the bullpen as our closer has 30 pitches thrown and is going into his 3rd inning of work in a 1 run elimination game

 

This might be the final time for me to look like an idiot for the 2016 season, but I think Chapman is about to have such a smooth inning that you will forget you ever thought this.

Let's hope so but I would think in an elimination game you want to have all your options available. I mean it's not like he can't run to the pen quickly if needed but still would rather have him there to start inning

I'm the opposite. I don't care if it doesn't work, Chapman needs to be on the mound and nobody else. This is why you acquire him in July. For this right here. If he does his job, we didn't need another run.
