Guys: Kershaw can go 140 tonight, he's a stud! Truly, he may be the best ever. Oh, he's given up four so far (through four). He's clearly hurt, otherwise he'd be dominating these guys like we talked about earlier.

I hate the whole, "he's young, he doesn't understand that he's supposed to be nervous" sentiment. Players are young, not stupid.

 

Building on it, the young guys have less experience to lean on in these situations.

Theoretically, a young team can't do this.

Smoltz tonight: Kershaw is a horse who they'll ride as long as needed, even if it takes 140 pitches. But we have to recognize he might be hurt and not 100%, so this beating doesn't count. =D>

 

And Kyle Hendricks should be lucky to be on the same mound as him for his maximum of 5 innings where he just tries to give his team a chance.

Kyle is the fittest man alive, so it's not a fair comparison. Kershaw is at maybe 5%, 10% tops.

Nobody has more stamina than Clayton Kershaw.
