I don't understand the difference in these stats... theyre both 0-2?

 

The first one is his slash line when an AB ends when the count was 0-2. The second one is slash line when an AB starts with a 0-2 count.

On the Chapman thing I think it was relief, while still being mad at himself. Even though it wasn't his fault. You can see Dave Martinez come over and talk to him after Fowler's hr.

 

But he definitely hugged Bryant game 3 with a big smile and hugged Miggy tonight.

i know this is dumb, but it annoys me how dave roberts celebrates individual plays like a player would

now that I've had time to digest this, I am ecstatic that it was Miggy that hit that. after the big time struggles pretty much the entire season, battling the back injury, thinking he might get released, being some in danger of not making this round of the playoffs because of his back again, etc. he just seems like a genuinely great guy, and despite all the times I lobbied for him to be launched in the sun, I couldn't be happier for him

I think I blacked out on the Montero grand slam. I had just leaned over to my 8 year old son and mentioned that we saw Montero hit a grand slam last year (against the Dbacks?). I said something like "maybe we will see another one." He hit the ball and I think I picked up my son and started jumping around before it even landed.

 

What a night and what a memory I'll have with my boy!

Instead of having Bartman throw out a first pitch if the Cubs get into the WS, they should bring him and Joe Buck out to the mound to let Bartman repeatedly kick Buck in the crotch.
