Javy has a .572 OPS and an almost 29.8% K rate since July 30. Blah, hope he can make some adjustments before the playoffs.

Well, that K rate is still lower than when he was awful in 2014 and if thats him at his worst thats really not too bad

I'm not worried about him going back to 2014 or anything, and not necessarily worried about this slump either. He will get it back together. I just like annoyingly posting stats that show how much players are slumping or surging.

ok not a tasteful joke, im sorry i should think before i post because if i spent even 2 seconds to consider what I was posting I would have realized how bad and unnecessary the joke was.

without really looking into it, if i had to guess, it's mostly a product of joe playing him more for his defense and not shielding him from matchups as much as when his offensive numbers looked OK

Probably has to do with playing against more RHPs and not being protected with favorable matchups. May just be the hitter he is vs RHP.
