Iowa loses to (very good) FBS team, Wisconsin was trailing in the 4th against Georgia state but won, Rutgers and Penn state both in close games late. Gooooo Big Ten?

All the better for IU. Hoping we can get 8-9 wins this season.

I don't know if North Dakota State is good or if I don't really trust the big ten west but I'm still confident that Iowa has a shot to go to the Big Ten championship game again. They'd probably lose.

Also, they couldn't handle a blitz vs this team Michigan is probably going to legit kill Beathard so that'll be a fun thing.

'Bama is getting curb stomped.

Though the refs blew it twice on that last TD

Stop being influenced by the crap Gary is saying

It was clearly a helmet to helmet hit, and the personal foul clearly happened before the TD scored. Now if Gary is misinterpreting the rules, that's something else

I set an over/under of a combined 25 point margin of victory for Alabama and Michigan when they were down a combined 21, and they're already +24 with a quarter left for each.

Colorado is probably just a bad team but I used to watch top 10 teams be down 2 scores early and get excited about a potential upset. Then I would turn on the game an hour later and wonder how the top 5 team was blowing the other team out.

Long story short this was kind of Michigan today. Good feeling assuming they finish this off

Time to spend the rest of the season guessing whether ND goes 7-5 or 8-4

I usually work on the assumption that ND, assuming vaguely similar ranks, will have the most entertaining game of their time slot.

You have failed me.

Given that most of those games end on heartbreaking losses for ND, I would assume much of the nation feels the same.

And upon reflection 7-5 may be optimistic. Stanford and Miami are sure losses, USC could easily be one, NC State is not a gimme and frankly with how Army is looking I'm not chalking that one up either.

MSU is textbook blowing this. Too conservative, too soon on both offense and defense.

Don't worry. You just have to wait for Kelly and VanGorder to colossally horsefeathers up.

I'm so tired of this garbage program. If you're going to accept that 8-4 or worse 5 of 7 years (which will be Kelly's resume at the end of the year) is the ceiling of this program, then stop pretending to care if you are good at football and just go the BYU route. Stop wasting my [expletive] Saturdays on this crap.

Auburn is now 3-12 in last 15 games and lost 7 straight at home against Power 5 opponents. Tom Herman and Bobby Petrino should be getting calls soon.

North Dakota State got the second most votes in the "others receiving votes" portion of the AP poll. They are good and probably would compete with a lot of FBS teams, if not beat a lot of them.

Iowa can still win the West so I guess that's cool. They'd probably even put up a game against the East team because they tend to play to whatever stupid team they're playing.

I can't remember, did App State get ranked after they beat Michigan or did they just get a lot of votes but not quite top 25?

I tend to block a lot of that early season out of my head
