I always figured he'd get to that level, just thought it was a year or two away.

Imagine then if like heyward becomes heyward or Soler continues to head to beastdom or schwarber is the next Brian Giles or Contreras blah blah. Yeah basically this team is really sick

I'm not sure about the pitching, but I expect the offense to basically be playing the game on easy mode next year.

I basically believe that between bosio and Theo, pitching magic is being performed

So by fWAR we've got:

Bryant 6.6, on pace for 8.8, age 24

Rizzo 4.5, on pace for 6.0, age 26

Russell 3.3, on pace for 4.4, age 22

Baez 2.1, on pace for 2.8, age 23

Contreras 0.9, pace for 2.7 (if full season), age 24

Even Almora was at 0.7 fWAR in 86 PAs.

Oh yeah, and we've got Schwarber 1.9 (fWAR last year in 273 PAs) coming back next year.

And that's Willy being severely penalized for being a shitty LF instead of a really good C

There have been three catchers that have picked off more than two runners this year. I'll give you a hint: One is Dioner Navarro, for some reason. Who are the other two? Hint number two: One of them has only started 26 games at catcher.

With an off day Thursday I'd hope Maddon only lets Jake go only one more inning. Save his bullets. Edited by mdwilla

We'll have a 7 game lead over the Nats for the #1 seed if this lead holds. We're pretty much to the point where there's no reason to scoreboard watch, not even for positioning.

100+ wins would still be pretty cool to get though

Assuming this holds, we just need to go 20-17 the rest of the year to get to 100.

Which is ridiculous.
