The Cubs just rallied with three runs in the ninth to complete a 7-1 home stand and this Ram guy won't quit talking about Joe Maddon micro-managing or whatever else he's rambling about.

It's called "replying"...

Is this a good 'reply'?

So it's based on "perception" not the facts on the ground...even sillier.

I don't believe any of this makes sense even in your own head.

Basically he equates feelings to facts, which means actual discussion is a non starter.

Talking to the mirror again i see.

Haha just realized our runs today were scored on a grounder up the middle, a wild pitch, a sac fly, a walk and another wild pitch. That's the value of having a team that gets on base constantly. Even if you don't get the big hit you can occasionally win games by putting constant pressure on the opposing pitchers

1 pitch too many...I'm sure it didn't influence his decision from there on at all as well.

You never were very bright.

paraphrasing: "It's idiotic to even suggest trying Colvin at 1st base"

How did that "gem" work out for you..?

"Soriano would be a better choice to try that with"

:good:

Are you talking about Tyler Colvin? The guy best known for almost getting stabbed in the heart with a bat and a career 91 OPS+ from a non-premium defensive position?! What...in the what...

You're somehow making even less sense.

The deflection/half ass denial route...smart choice.

Hindsight after the fact and out of context....get in your time machine.

...so you are saying (in hindsight, of course) that the idea of putting Colvin at first was a good one, but claiming I can't call it stupid (in hindsight) when it clearly was?! Based on...the fact that I can't travel back in time?! Also, is there any other type of hindsight than after the fact?

Wait, wait...if I understand you right, at one point I said I'd rather see Soriano at 1B instead of Colvin, and of the myriad of dumb things I've posted here THIS is supposed to be the thing that just leaves me humiliated?

This is really odd.

OK, maybe I didn't figure out what you were trying to say.
