Did anyone else get that weird translucent bat commercial to commemorate Jake Arrieta's recent pitching? Random.

I did. Even mentioned the second no hitter. They work fast.

Seems strange to commemorate a pitcher with a bat.

Russell is determined to get that K rate back to 2015 levels.

Yeah after seemingly hitting rockets everywhere and taking walks for those few weeks there he seems to really be struggling the past ~2 weeks. I haven't looked at the numbers to know if that's true but it seems like it's been a while since he's made some hard contact and he's striking out a lot.

Perfect time to run this spot about the Giants and how they add to SF during halftime of Golden State at Oklahoma City.

He can join Fowler, Rizzo and Baez in the struggling club

Baez just might suck and his "struggle" may be who he is

Bumgarner dominates many games but was hoping the best offense in the NL would have a little more success. Sometimes there's nothing you can do I guess

Well then, I was wrong (except about the Ks). Doesn't seem like he's been hitting that much lately to have that average.

Yeah I have to admit I dropped the ball on that entire post. These horsefeathering babies completely horsefeathers me up in the head.
