I really dislike Travis Wood more than I should. He's been fine as a reliever, today notwithstanding

That may have been the quintessential Javy Baez game. He ranged up the middle to get a ball that possibly no other second baseman is able to get. On the same play, he then makes a horrible decision to try to throw the guy out. He uses his speed to beat out a grounder down the third-base line. He makes a nice play defensively, and is also involved in a beautiful DP. He flails wildly at a number of really ugly breaking balls, some in the dirt. He strikes out swinging twice. Then, he somehow is able to reach a ball in a ridiculous location and line it for a double.

I share this sentiment. Even while he's been good I still get a feeling of dread whenever he enters the game.

The last time Jake Arrieta gave up a run at Wrigley, this guy was president.

Weird I feel good when he comes in usually. I save my dread for Cahill appearances

Wait did the Cardinals really lose on a batters interference? Hahaha if that happened to my team I'd be piiiiiiissed

It looked like the umpire was calling it, but it was a pop up at home plate that the catcher caught anyway. Diaz didn't run out of the box and the catcher bumped into him tracking the pop up.
