Heyward really needs to get a big hit soon

Like one off of a lefty with two outs and guys on base?

Are we expecting one big hit every 10 days? I'd prefer them more often

I'm going to assume the whole "Trevor Story is good" thing is over now that I picked him up on my fantasy team

This is also the strategy i have for that Hazelbacker scrub

he's probably just another one of those Baez/Grichuk/Schoop up the middle players who has no concept of the strike zone but hits for enough power to provide value, and also Coors will keep him fantasy viable even more so

That was 3 games ago. Was particularly memorable considering the count was 0-2, 2 outs against a lefty when the Cubs desperately needed to get at least 1 across.

But yeah he's definitely slumping at the plate...that will change.

Hendricks is the perfect pitcher for this team; a ground ball pitcher who throws a ton of strikes

I mean, I love Hendricks. But 2nd half 2015 Arrieta is the perfect pitcher for this team.

This game is the opposite of fun so far

Heyward will hit a game winning 2 run HR

That would make up for the lack of fun

These fans have never seen a home run before. They think every 280 foot fly ball is going out of the park

Even casual fans know this team is good, so they're coming to the park ready to cheer. Give them a break.

Stop cheering every medium depth fly balls, Wrigley faithful.

They've been terrible all week. I don't know why all the sudden we cant judge a fly ball off the bat. Maybe all the donging in the playoffs last year trained the fans to think any fly ball is going to carry out for a HR.

It's every single fly ball........

Heyward is a notorious slow starter.

Through the first 15 games of the season:

2013: .115 /.258/.269

2014: .136/.271/.254

2015: .212/.224/.364

He'll get it going in the next week or two like he always has.

Maybe they are just excited to see outfielders catch routine fly balls?
