They're doing it on purpose, to taunt both him and the Reds, and even the game if baseball itself. Calm yourselves.

If Fowler puts up a 1.300 OPS and plays decent CF throughout the season he would get what... 15 WAR?

 

His next contract would get him like $35M AAV.
